PRODUCTION INFORMATION

Says Yahoo: "It turned out that Helen Dallimore and David Field were as nuts as I was and performed all their own stunts. This was the first time I had worked with an ensemble of actors who were all extremely respectful of, and interested in exploring physical comedy. Yet, on top of that, they were all capable of playing the drama with truth and sincere passion to counterpoint the absurd concept of the storyline." Powerful character actor David Field and Yahoo became great mates during the shoot and would often top a full day's filming by staying back after everyone had gone home to choreograph fight scenes into the early hours of the morning.

David Field excitedly recalls: "I trained as an acrobat when I first started acting and this was the first chance I had to use that training on a movie. It was a very exhilarating experience being able to perform my own stunts with Yahoo." Actor/director Serious says: "David is a very skilled physical performer so together we were able to develop our own 'off the wall' stunt routines based on martial arts and rock 'n roll wrestling! Basically we totally dumbed down, de-evolving in order to develop ever funnier and more violent ways to obliterate each other." On his role as Duxton Chevalier, David says: "Duxton was cool, I mean the guy was into male bonding and certainly was deeply in love with Sunday Valentine. But just in case things didn't work out relationship wise he always carried an axe in his briefcase. One of my favorite days of filming was donning the tights to play Sir Walter Raleigh, undoubtedly the most sympathetic character in the film. He is unjustly denied the opportunity to get lung cancer by being beheaded, even though he unselfishly brought tailor-made cigarettes to civilisation.

Roger Crumpkin and Duxton Chevalier share an intimate moment.
